This browser is responding to JavaScript

The preferred settings are JavaScript version 1.1 and javaEnabled() equals true. If javaEnabled() is unknown, then you will need the manually check for that setting.

For Netscape Navigator, from the menu bar, select Options / Network Preferences... / Languages / Enable Java.

For MS Internet Explorer, from the menu bar, select View / Options... / Security / Enable Java programs.
